Datasets and DNA Samples

Researchers and clinicians are actively developing gene-based therapies to treat ophthalmic genetic diseases that were once considered untreatable. The eyeGENE® Research Resource (RRID:SCR_004523) is an open resource for approved studies with access to data and DNA samples.

Researchers can apply for three types of access:

  • Access to datasets (demographics, genetics, clinical)
  • Access to both datasets and DNA samples
  • Contact potential participants for other studies
